This policy describes our practices for collecting, using and disclosing information you may provide through gethealthmax.com(the “Website”) and the related services. Please read it in full before using the Website or submitting information to it. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, our GDPR notice adds to this policy and sets out your rights under that law.

By using the Website you agree to the terms of this policy. Whenever you submit information through the Website, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of that information as described here. We update this policy from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.

The Website is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect or keep information from a person we know to be under 18, and no part of the Website is designed to attract them. We encourage parents to talk with their children about the information they share online.

The Website collects information you enter directly: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, telephone number, and the details needed to take payment and deliver an order. It also collects anything you write to us through a contact form, the cancellation form or by email. Each form tells you which fields are required and which are optional.

We use your information to take and fulfil your order, to answer questions and handle returns and cancellations, to detect and prevent fraud, to meet tax and accounting obligations, to improve the content of the Website, and, where you have asked for them, to send you communications. We may combine information you have given us with information collected automatically, as described below.

Information on the Website is provided for general background. It is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified professional, and you should consult your own physician about any health question, particularly before changing a medication or starting a new supplement.

We may collect a card number, bank account information and related details when you place an order. That information is submitted over an encrypted TLS connection and is used to process and complete the transaction you requested. We do not sell, trade or share card information with anyone for their own purposes, and full card numbers are not retained on our systems once a transaction is complete.

Payment data. To process payments, transaction data is shared with our payment platform Woosa Payments (Woosa B.V.) and its licensed processing partner Adyen N.V., which process this data to execute payments, screen for fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

Information collected through the Website is held on secured servers that only selected staff and contractors can reach, and is maintained in a manner consistent with current industry practice. Card authorisation, order processing and fulfilment are handled by established third parties, which receive only the information they need to authorise payment and ship your order.

No transmission over the internet or a wireless network can be made completely secure. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, you acknowledge that: (a) the internet has security and privacy limitations outside our control; (b) the security, integrity and privacy of information exchanged between you and us through the Website cannot be assured; and (c) such information may be viewed or altered in transit by a third party. Where you use a password or other access credential on the Website, safeguarding it is your responsibility.

As you move through the Website, some information is collected without you entering it: your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring page, and the pages you view. We use it to diagnose problems with our servers, to report aggregate figures, and to administer and improve the Website.

A “cookie” is a small piece of information a website asks your browser to store. Session cookies are erased when you close your browser and are used to keep navigation and your cart working. Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them, and are used to remember details such as a previous entry or your preferences. This Website uses both. Small image tags (also called clear GIFs or pixels) and server log files record technical details such as an IP address and browser type; we use them for system management, to improve the content of the Website, and to communicate with visitors.

You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Strictly necessary cookies are needed for the cart and checkout to function, so blocking them may prevent an order from being placed.

You can opt out of our communications at any time. Send an email with “Remove” in the subject line to support@gethealthmax.com, or call 1 (866) 202-0540 during Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET.

Opting out of communications is not the same as cancelling a subscription, which bills every 32 days until it is cancelled. To stop future shipments and charges, use the cancellation page, email support@gethealthmax.com, or call 1 (866) 202-0540.

The Website may link to websites operated by others. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, even where a linked site indicates a relationship with us. We do not disclose personally identifiable information to the operators of linked sites, but those sites may collect information from you directly. Read the privacy policy of any site you reach from here.

This policy may change over time. Where we make a substantive change, we will notify customers by email to the address associated with their orders. Changes do not apply retroactively to information collected before the change, except where the law requires it.
